
Charity Shaw as “Abby”
Charity’s theatre credits are many and varied, including “Sita” in The Ramayana, “Chi’Yun” in Fanshen, “Emily” in Milko, “Antigone” in Antigone, “Jackie” in Dream Like Me, “Olga” in The Three Sisters, “Auntie Bogdan” in Mad Forest and “Beth” in Little Women.
A graduate of the National Theatre Drama School, receiving the prestigious Joan Harris Award on graduation, she is also a singer, working with The Melbourne Corale, the Australian Choir for the World Choral Symposium, the Geelong Youth Choir and most recently performing on the soundtrack of the new Australian musical Marking Life in the lead role of “Lisa”.
Currently studying with Richard Sarell at The Rehearsal Room, Charity’s other awards include the VCE Excellence Award for her Theatre Studies CAT in 1995.
